Definition: The term serial is applied to materials "in any medium issued under the same title in a succession of discrete parts, usually numbered and appearing at regular or irregular intervals with no predetermined conclusion." An eSerial is the digital or electronic version of the serials being published that is accessible through digital mediums.
Special notes: These rules should be applied to all eSerial records.
