Definition: Microform is a reproduction of an original document such as newspaper, archival material, etc. 

Special notes: 

If the original document is a serial follow the standards for Serial except for the below fields.

If the original document is a book follow the standard from Print Book except for the below fields.

Use this table to complete the MARC fields in your record.

• If the MARC Field Code has an asterisk (*) after the number, then it indicates a required standard. If the row appears in italics the field is optional. These fields must be completed for the record to be accepted into the Network Zone, unless the resource does not have that information.
• All other fields are recommended to be completed.
• Please follow the Value Instructions column. If no specific instructions are provided, then follow MARC Standards.
