Definition: A 33rpm is a type of analog audio recording pressed in vinyl (often referred to as record or vinyl). 33 1/3rpm records are "Long Play" (LP) records, meaning that they can hold entire albums - unlike 45rpm records, which can only hold one song per side.
Special notes: These rules should be applied to all 33rpm records.
Example: See 33rpm (LP) Cataloguing Example at bottom of this page.
