Communications Overview

This page contains a basic Page 1+ Launch Plan, draft communications, and samples of college library communications. 

This page is a work in progress and will be updated as more content becomes available.

Launch Plan

This is a recommended basic launch plan for colleges. Since each college is different, it is up to the college libraries to plan and implement Page 1+ launch communications/activities that best suit their audiences and communication channels. Colleges are welcome to add their own elements, customize the draft content for their audiences and adjust the timing (except for Go Live).

We strongly encourage colleges, at a minimum, to send out the communications included in the plan below.

For the Go Live launch on July 26, we have provided some proposed activities for students. For material for social media, digital ads, website content, poster, T-shirt design, etc, see the Promotional Material page

  • This email references FAQ and a Resources page for faculty that would need to be created by the college if they think it is necessary to prepare faculty for Page 1+

OTHER CHANNELS: Consider using other internal communication channels in your college to spread the word such as newsletters, blogs, etc.
